Children & Families

At St Saviour’s we welcome and love families and children.

We have a dedicated team of volunteers. The church has a commitment to safeguarding and each volunteer has a DBS check. Our groups for children are:

Toddler Group on Wednesday mornings, 9.45–11.15 a.m. during term time.

Please follow our facebook page to find out more: https://www.facebook.com/Stsaviourstoddlers

Our toddler group starts with play, a range of different toys and a craft table.

Later there is singing and a story.

We serve teas and coffees to parents and carers along with chocolate biscuits and have snack time with a drink, some fruit and a plain biscuit for children.

We celebrate Christmas, Easter and the end of the school year with a party. We welcome all children and their carers; there is no charge but donations are welcome, suggested donation is £2 a family.

Our team would love to welcome you.

Sunday Mornings

During our 10:45am service we all worship together, then there is a children’s talk before the children go out to their activities. We have a play area in church for our preschool children, and offer a session each week upstairs for out primary-school-aged children. Each week we listen to and respond to a Bible story in creative ways.

Schools Work

We have three schools in our parish, and love getting involved with them and welcoming them to church. We currently do regular assemblies and Open the Book  at St Saviours Church School and working with Foundation governors and chaplaincy team to support the schools in other ways.
