Ringing the bells of St Saviour’s Church
St Saviour’s church has a peal of eight bells in the tower. Ringers at St Saviour’s have a close relationship with those at Swainswick, and at the moment practices are held at Swainswick Church every Thursday evening.
In the past there have been bellringing days out to Dorset, Devon, London and parts of Wales. Visiting and ringing the bells at other churches is one of the delights of ringing.
We are always happy to welcome new members – please come and join us at a practice night in Swainswick (7–8 p.m.).
For more information about bellringing in the area, visit the Bath & Wells Diocesan Association of Change Ringers website.
