If you are newly engaged, congratulations! We would love to welcome you to marry at one of our churches- St Saviours, St Marys Swainswick or All Saints, Woolley. We aim to ensure that the church arrangements are as straightforward as possible so that you can enjoy the planning and have a wonderful wedding day.
We offer every couple a marriage preparation course to help prepare you for marriage and lay foundations for life-long commitment. If you would like more information, please get in touch with us by phone or email for enquiries about weddings. There is a standard fee for a wedding service, with additional costs for heating, organist, bells and verger.
Funerals

A funeral, or a service of thanksgiving, is used to mark the end of a person’s life here on earth. Family and friends come together to express grief for their loved one, give thanks for their life lived and commend them into God’s keeping. This important time together can be a small, quiet ceremony or a large occasion. Baptisms
Adult baptisms
Baptism is about making a public commitment to following Jesus. We are always delighted to baptise a new christian by full immersion -its a powerful and joyful symbol of new life in Christ!
Baby baptisms
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me…” …And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.’

To have a baby is to enter a whole new universe- If that is you, congratulations! You may be looking for a way to celebrate and give thanks for such a wonderful gift. We would be delighted to celebrate with you, whether or not you would like a formal baptism service. We would be happy to visit you and talk through the different options.

We love to welcome anyone through baptism to join the family of God at any age. We can arrange a baptism or thanksgiving service as part of our Sunday morning service.If you wish to be confirmed we can arrange for you to attend a series of confirmation classes followed by a confirmation service.Please contact the parish office for more information about any of these services.
