Little Bags of Joy

Spring 2021 found us in yet another lockdown as the community and the world struggled to deal with the Covid 19 pandemic. In the face of this, St Saviours launched the Little Bags of Joy project. The aim is simple: to love our neighbours in Larkhall, Swainswick and Woolley with a real, tangible physical gift. In the wake of our first distribution on 13 and 14 March, the positive response was overwhelming. 

So we have decided to carry on this mission – and to grow it from the ground up. 

And we need your help. We carefully compile bags with treats for adults and children: colouring books, seeds to plant, chocolate bars, crisps, biscuits and hot chocolate sachets. 

Each bag costs about £3.30. We distributed 50 bags in one day … and we’d love to distribute more. If you are willing to fund a bag (or more), please do so. You’ll find the church’s bank details below – just make a note what the donation is for:
